You may notice that all of these vehicles perished due to accidents. None of them are in the junkyard due to reliability issues.

Are all these at your local junkyard? I'm lucky to have one pre-facelift R50 at local junkyards.

Indeed it's a shame to see any Pathfinder or Hardbody at a junkyard, but they are only vehicles after all.

Totally jealous. I was just at the junkyard a few weeks ago, and there was a total of one Pathy at my local junkyard, an old R50 with a 3.3L. (Yes, it was in an accident!)

To be fair, I've only had to go to the junkyard twice for Pathy parts... last time I went a few years ago there wasn't a single one to be found.

No, these are just random pictures that I found online. However, there are four Pathfinders at my local junkyard, and all of them are pre-facelift Pathfinders. The first is a gold 1996 Pathfinder XE, it was in a frontal collision. The second is a gold 1997 Pathfinder XE, it was hit in the driver side front fender. Third is a maroon 1997 Pathfinder SE, it too was in a frontal collision, and it has been pretty much stripped bare of parts. The last is a black 1997 Pathfinder LE, it was in a frontal collision as well.

These R50's are beasts. They will take you where you need to go as long as you take care of them. I've yet to see a perfectly ok R50 at the junkyard because of reliability issues.
