dead mouse in air duct area

I have a dead mouse some behind firewall and in front of dash. We live in country, so climbed up and in at air duct by driver-side tire.He is effecting operation of fan. He is really stinking up interior. Are there any people out there that has run across this problem?

It happened to me last year. The car smelled of dead mouse and the blower motor rattled when it was on. Dealer charged $200 to get the carcass removed and replace cabin air filter. The critter also filled up the air cleaner box (upstream of the filter) with acorns so check there also.

But I would just try to get it out my self with a flexable pole or an air compressor.
