Help!!!!!! I have a 1993 Nissan 240 SX SE convertible that was fine until I left it sitting for a few days outside because it snowed. Went to start her up, but she was dead. Bought a new battery, put it in only to find the same problem. Everything else works but the engine will not crank, just some clicking noises from the engine compartment, but after turning the key a few times more not even that. Please if you have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated....Please & thanks..............

You didn't leave the top down, right?

Sounds like a starter solenoid or the starter, both of which are relatively inexpensive.

I agree. Classic symptoms of starter/solenoid failure.

Thank you so much for your quick reply! I live in Vancouver Canada, hardly any time here to have the top down as it rains most of the time. But it's turned to snow now. I guess I am hooped for now till the snow is gone, as getting to the starter would be a wet and cold task for Q. You are probably right on the money about the starter being the problem, would you know if the starter & solenoid on these cars are as one unit or are they separated, & if so where would the solenoid be located ....can't thank you enough.........007

007 - See if someone in Classifieds has a starter for sale... Might get a used one cheap.

Also, make sure you put your vert in the Registry!
