dead end!! my car wont start...

i just put in an s15 sr20 in my s13 sent the wiring harness to wiring spcialties then hooked it up and got everything else hooked up tryed to start it wont start just makes a clicking noise from the starter cilonoid i changed the starter out still wont start and then i blew fuze so i got another one put it in then hooked up my battery and then i blew again...doesnt even try to turn over. need help fast...thanks for the help.pat

sounds like you have a short around your starter, since you started popping fuses right after replacing it. check your connections.

about the clicking, that usually happens when your battery doesnt have enough juice to spin the starter. grab a voltmeter and check it.

thanks for the help, ill try that.by the way dont buy fuses at nissan one cost me 21 bucks...but there the only ones that had it at the time.

same thing happened to my car but with a KA.it wasnt the starter or anything else it was just that my battery was so dirty, so we disconnected it and poured some coke on it.hope that helped?
