I started working on a 93 z32 that I recently purchased that has been sitting and not running for a few years. After reading a lot of information on here, I decided to make a plan and check known problems before I get to far into it. One thing that keeps popping up is electrical connections. So I have been one by one checking connectors for corrosion and so far everything has been good. Until I reached the ECU and found a couple terminals that are roachy. I can probably clean them but I don't know if I would trust them not to cause a problem later on down the road. So I was wondering if it was possible to find and buy a dead ECU so that I could remove the connector and replace mine. Should I post something in the classified section?

You'll be better off buying a used ECU that works, they are cheap enough and replacing the plug wont be worth the PITA.

I have a socketed NA ECU that I have been trying to sell for some time- not the perfect solution for you but maybe you also were thinking of a chip upgrade? If so my ECU is ready to go for that, open socket waiting for an upgraded one.
I can't post pics any longer due to the photobucket quick cash infusion situation, but my ad still is floating around in the classi's so I'll bump it up.
I'd make you a good deal to move it if it helps you out...and it wouldn't hurt to update your profile for at least a general location for shipping purposes.
