this morning i went to play a cd and the cd player doesnt seem to be working...any ideas what might have happened?

also i was looking to replace the head unit with a pioneer or alpine touch screennow someone had told me that replacing the stock headunit withan aftermarket product causes problems with the bose speakers...is that true? or will there be no problems?

Does it have power (lights work, but CD mech won't work) or is it completely dead (no power at all)? If completely dead, it could be a fuse. If the CD mech is not working at all, the easiest would probably be to replace it.

You can add an aftermarket HU to the Bose system by using something like a PAC ROEM-NIS2.

does leaving the cd on when i turn off the car make a difference?
