Well after trying to fire up this paperweight last night, i couldnt get any spark. Rotating the cas out of the car with the ignition on did indeed make the injectors click, but still no spark. Now the issue with my CAS is that it was damaged during shipping, the cover is cracked and it hit the rotary disk very very slightly. Theres a dimple right on the outside of the disk near the black dashes, and it also made the disk slightly warped. And i mean VERY slightly. Wouldnt i still get spark on at least some of the coils? Or is my pickup damaged now?

Please advise on what it could be, especially if its something else besides the cas (which i doubt)

pretty sure you won't get either fuel or spark with the CAS broken. seems like yours is still working

Well all 6 ignitors were pushing 12.4 volts, and the injectors were firing when we rotated the CAS, we just get no spark. Would that mean it has to be the cas? Either that or wiring but i dont think Carl would have messed up the wiring.

You'll always have 12 volts to the coils, they have constant power, the switch is on the ground side.

I had a CAS go bad on me before, it acted as a low rev limiter, which got lower as the car came up to operating temp, and then would not run at all between 2000-3000 rpm, weirdest thing ever. I started throwing sensors that I thought was the problem in the freezer until I found one that effected it.

Since that is not the case with you, I'd say put an O-scope on it while cranking, and you can see a poor or non existant wave form. That or replace it with a good one, and see if it changes. From the sound if it I think its toast.

I took mine apart and couldnt find anything wrong with it, they must be incredibly sensitive and precise.

for ****s and giggles you can use a s2 cas to see if you can get it to spark but because of the cam drive you'll need the late s2 or neo cas.
