dead battery ???

I have kess than 2000KM on the car. 2008 ALtima 3.5 SE drove it last night, parked in garage, try to get in this am... DEAD.

calle roadside, they boosted it..

here's my thinking.

when i got home, i had parked it to close to the garage door, so I hopped in, still with car door open, started it, put 'er into gear, advanced the car 2 feet, killed the engine and got out.Closed the door. I have my lights set on "Auto". usually they shut off 30-45 secs once parked. my battery was dead this am. does anyone have any other insight?

sounds like you either left your head lights on or possibly one of your interior lights, but i think they shut off automatically at some point

probably.i heard the chime, figured it was due to the FOB in my hand... for some stupid reason...

car started today, no issues..

still think the whole problem stems from starting and shutting down the car with door open, i see nothing else I did out of the ordinary.. ????thanks..
