My battery just drained in my 03 G35. The car wouldn't start, but there wasn't any downtime for the car, it was being driven everyday so I don't understand why it drained. Is there a known problem with these cars?

Batteries usually last [they decline from day 1 and get unreliable in time]about 3 years depending on local temperature extremes.

Standard operating proceedure to just schedule a replacement prior to 3rd Summer.

Car batteries do have a service life. If you can get 5 years out of one, that is a good thing.

If you buy one yourself an change it out (easy enough to do), then make sure to get one with a recent manufacturing date - less than 12 months (ideally less than 6 months) old.
