I have had the 07 M35 for about 2 months now and the battery died on me. Called roadside assistance and they came to jump the battery and all was well for 2 weeks, and then it died again on me.

I ended up buying a battery myself and replacing it, and now the one-touch window close does not work.

Does anyone know why my battery might have died twice like this? Is this something the warranty should cover? Or is there something else more serious that may have caused this?

Do not know why you would purchase the battery yourself as it is under warranty. Do not have an answer as to why it died on you either but I do have an answer for your one-touch windows, READ THE OWNERS MANUAL, specifically, page 2-46:If the windows do not close automatically If the power window automatic function (closing only) does not operate properly, perform the following procedure to initialize the power window system.

1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.2. Open the window more than halfway by operating the power windowswitch.3. Pull the power window switch and hold it to close the window, and thenhold the switch more than 3 seconds after the window is closed completely.4. Release the power window switch. Operate the window by the automaticfunction to confirm the initialization is complete.5. Perform steps 2 through 4 above for other windows. If the power window automatic function does not operate properly after performing the procedure above, have your vehicle checked by an INFINITI dealer

And yes, all your problems listed are covered by the warranty.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I know I'm bad about not reading the owners manual.

I switched out the battery myself at this point because the service department was closed and I had to head out on a trip that day, so I wasn't willing to chance it and get it jumpstarted by roadside assistance (which took 2 hours instead of the 30 minutes they originally told me the first time around) only to have it die another week later.

I'm planning to talk to the dealership to see what they can do. Not a happy camper at this point.

They arent going to beable to do anything for you if switched out with an aftermarket or factory INFINITI battery on your own...

You could call INFINITI Consumer Affairs @ 800-662-6200 but they may verywell tell you to pound sand (in a more polite way)...

Thx for the PM. Let me just rant a bit on the service, or rather, lack of.

I called in towards the end of April to schedule an oil change with Tustin Infiniti. On the phone they quoted me $39.99 for an oil change for the 07 M35. When I took my car in for the service on 5/12, they said they would charge me $50, and that that's what the price has always been. My appointment was at 8:00 AM and I didn't feel like cancelling and going somewhere else for $10, so I just got the service done there, but needless to say, I was a bit ticked off.

The same afternoon on 5/12, I was going to head out, and that's when the car wouldn't start. Not enough juice to start the car up. I had to deal with the Infiniti Roadside assistance which took about 2 hours to get a jumpstart. Strangely enough, Tustin Infiniti had provided a "vehicle diagnostic" which indicates that everything was fine with the car. And heck, for a new car that I've had for 2 months, I didn't have reason to believe otherwise.

One week later, 5/20, I find myself in the same situation. Not enough juice to start up the car. I had to head out for travel, and since it was Sunday, the service center is closed at Tustin Infiniti (and most dealerships I believe), and I figured I had to get the battery myself and replace it seeing that it died again within a week, and I couldn't go without a car for that week.

If there is some contact info other than a phone number to call that I can pursue, I'd appreciate any information you can provide.
