FYI: Our OEM battery died this week just short of 2 years -- the soonest I've ever had a battery die. Although it was covered by warranty (supposedly full for 2 years, pro-rated for the 3rd year), the dealer said they'd have to determine whether anything else caused it to fail, said it would be hours before they could get to us, couldn't guarantee when they'd get us in, and then would replace it with a new OEM battery (again, just a 2-year warranty). Rather than do the song and dance with the dealer, I decided to let the very nice AAA man who jump-started us and tested the battery sell me a 7-year Die-Hard, installed from his truck in 15 minutes, with a full 3-year AAA warranty pro-rated for 7 years (AAA replaces at no cost anywhere in USA), at a cost of $114 including tax.
