Hi. I see there is a programming sequence to cancel the autolock feature (ie. doors automatically lock when vehicle reaches about 20km/h) but this sequence appears to be for newer model cars - maybe 2000 and later?
I have a 1997 Bluebird SSS Jap Import ( 1st Generation U13 / Altima ) . When I try the sequence of Ignition ON, press unlock and hold for 5 seconds, Hazard lights should flash. This doesn't appear to do anything - (no flashing hazard lights)
Does anyone know, or have an English manual with the program code to activate and deactivate auto lock function on older model Nissans? (my manual is in Japanese)
