This is more of a driveline query, but there's likely no place better get an answer than here.
Are there any physical differences between the de, and det gearboxes for the CA18?
I just scored an RB20 5 speed, and research would suggest that the DET box has more ribs on the bellhousing than the de box.
Is this also the case with the CA18 specific fs5w71c gearbox?

AFAIK, the transmission is the same. The RWD DE did use a different final drive ratio than the DET.

I've hear that too, but IDK, which is which. I also think it was a european thing, and not a JDM thing.
