Please excuse me if this isn't the right forum for this, but there is only 1 Infiniti dealer in [my STATE]. This is the WORST dealership in the United States. Part prices are seriously inflated and they never have anything you need. They also won't sell you small parts , like o-rings etc. if you don't buy the parts there. Their customer service rates about a zero. If you ever have to use this dealership, think twice and order from somwhere else. They don't deserve a penny from you!

Sorry to hear that Bigox, but there are some real bad seeds out there. Of the handful of dealerships here in New England, I can only recommend Kelly Infiniti Of Danvers, Harte Infiniti of Hartford and Infiniti Of Norwood. Anyone in New England should avoid [a certain dealer] Infiniti in Boston. I made a few phone calls over there for parts and the parts guy was real unpleasant to talk to. His comments were a bit on the disparaging side, very patronizing. On top of that, they had THE most inflated prices on parts among dealerships that had pretty high markups.

BTW, we should come up with a thread devoted to Dealerships that should be avoided at all costs.

I agree...maybe even a forum with sub-forums divided by states or regions in which to post such info.

I'll bring this suggestion up with the webmaster.

Yeah, we can post info there on good/bad shops and dealerships, not to mention speed traps and meets (I know, forum already). I understand it's difficult playing data manager on such a diverse array, but nothing is ever carved in stone, obviously, or we would still be on the old forum. Speaking of which, how are all the article conversions coming? I feel bad everytime I have to ask Dennis to post something I know he already did on the old board.

Members have to be careful about there choice of words and descriptions. You are commiting LIBEL and can be held LEGALLY responsible by the dealer [SUED] for your postings and the board owners are accesories after the fact by allowing the posts to remain!

This [FORUM] is no different than a newspaper.I would hate to see members lose their bank accounts and houses over choice of words "WORST dealership in the United States"....."customer service rates about a zero"

"Published material meeting three conditions: the material is defamatory either on its face or indirectly; the defamatory statement is about someone who is identifiable to one or more persons; and the material must be distributed to someone other than the offended party; i.e. published; distinguished from slander"

this is very very true. Louisvillestreets.com was threatened to be sued by local businesses because people expressed their opinions...frequently. If you say anything make sure it sticks to the facts and never give opinion type descriptions. If NICO was to host a section just for this NICO would be in just as much trouble. Dealers have lots of money and they could hire cochran and do the chewbaca defense.

Well, it is interesting that FreshAlloy.com does (or did) have a dealer feedback forum.

What's a chewbaca defense? I agree libel is a concern, but that's why we have such great moderators. I don't believe it would be too much of a problem getting most of our members to separate facts from opinions in regard to such things. "Worst dealership I've ever been to" vs. "Worst dealership in the world" are easily discernible I think.BTW, if you're going to edit the above message, you'll want to edit the subject line as well.

Vortex was threatened by a lawsuit for a member positng his terrible service experiences.

The suit was dropped.

I believe as long as one doesnt make things up one is very safe.
