DE DET Part Interchangibility

Does any one know if the valve spring keepers and valve oil seals from a DE will work on a DET? Thanks in advance.

The valve keepers will work,but the valve stem seals wont.

check the part list sticky at the top of the RWD SR specific page. s13srchris found the compatabilities with the usdm parts, I found the part numbers, and from what I reckon, we've both verified the fit.

So they will both work?

For valve oil seals I pulled:Intake valve oil seal - 13207-D4201 and Exhaust valve oil seal - 13207-2B500

What about keepers?

keepers? you mean retainers for the valve springs? Dunno the part numbers, but I got a set of crower retainers that were probably built for the DE's intially but can be used on the DET.

I mean the little half circle things that sit on the valve's keeper grooves. Theyre to prevent the valve spring from shooting off the valve.

I forgot which side had 7mm stems. The 6mm side can use the SR20DE stuff. The 7mm side will need a bigger valve seal (KA24DE) and keepers (I think KA24DE also). The USDM SR20DE have all 6mm.

ah ok. Not sure if the DE's will fit the DET's, but I figure the retainers are the same, so probably the keepers as well. I do have a spare set of keepers if you need those from a DET, but from what it looks like, they're all the same.
