Hi, I'm the new guy!!!Looking for people in Southeast PA (Philly area) and Northern Delaware -I guess south Jersey too, but only if you have all of your teeth. That are into S13's and such and being sideways more often than not.um yeah so pipe up ya know?

Wow! Such a warm welcome for us South Jerzeeans. Don't butter us up or anything, okay? I'll have you know I have all of my teeth, literary and otherwise. One more such crack will earn you a verbal scalding. Capische, sempai?

And I have HICAS so according to some of the brilliant minds on this forum, I cannot be "sideways" according to the laws of hydraulic toe-in rams. That's not true, but let them all believe that anyway. I know the truth.

So anyway, how's the lovely city of Yoko Ono? Is the whole place made of used Yoko tires, buildings and all? Do they have a Fat Tuesday's there? Do they serve Pabst Blue Ribbon in the tallboys there at the sashimi bars? Tell me, I am curious, and please do not dally, or my teeth may begin to fall out.

Yep, as always South Jerzeans are sensitive to the teeth question... it's ok buddy let it go.As far as the "City of Yoko Ono" goes, can't say I've ever been to a "Fat Tuesdays" there but I've never even seen one here either. TGI Fridays is pretty big but I tend to stay away from crowded places (figures I live in one of the most congested cities in the world, right?) I think that the last time I drank PBR was back in like 10th grade so I couldn't tell you if they serve it at sashime bars (If they did I'd have to smack them and be, ahem, rude.)What part of south Jersey are ya from?? OO we could speak super jersey code and just tell me what exit you're nearest on the NJ TPK :) I always loved that. I can't crack too hard, I can claim Freehold NJ as one of the places I've lived- but technically that's Eastern Central Jersey. Never went to the beach once, no further comment :)Are there a lot of (R)PS13 heads out your way??? It'd be cool to get up with some fellow enthusiasts ya know???It's funny when someone claims an '01 Camaro as the beater.

That's better! Now we have an honest dialogue going, after the *jab* *poke* *jab* session. I toast you with an electronic beer.

*hic*

Sadly, there are not many RPS13 heads around here. The one dude I know who had one, an exact clone of my car, got rear-ended not too long ago and is waiting ad infinitum for his ride to be repaired. Most people here in SNJ seem to be into the accursed SUV craze. It's quite annoying, really. I mean, do these folks realize how much they spend on gas a week? What a bunch of baboons.

I think I'm off exit 4 for the Turnpike, but I do not know for sure. See, I'm very cunning, and I do not pay Tha Man for use of the roadways...I take side roads and other secret routes that only us special non-Piney South-Jersey American-Americans know about. Like Route 322, 541, and a whole bunch of other trinary digits that are really meaningless.

And yes, for now, the '01 Camaro is the beater. I've been too nice to it so far and it's starting to have wierd stuff happen. It needs a good walloping while the S13 gets some well-deserved rest.

Not just you South Jerzeans know the Secret ways through NJ without paying the man to use the Mundan stretch of highway called the Turnpike... Or maybe cuz I used to live there- shudder- trying to forget about it.I toast you as well.Exit 4 is route 73... Do you ever go to the Philly races???I used to go up there alot but now I only go up to see cars I built race... I used to build *GASP* Hondas. Oh well chalk up one more converted soul.So if you're SOL for PS13 heads and I am as well, I guess that means by default we should put our heads together at some point. What do you have done to your car??I just bought mine last week... I put spacers in the rear SUS cuz it's too soft and equals lots of understeer. I ordered a filter+MAF adapter the other day as well. two words:budget beater. So hit me back if your momma hasn't put you to sleep yet.

hurrayyyy EAST COAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

greets from Jackson, NJ (six flags town)

i got the poops base 93 fastback... but still lovin it :), the only meets going on around here is the East Coast Drift meet at Englishtown every once in a while. Like a retard i chickened out last time cause i couldnt get my friends to come.... bahhh!!!!! stupid me!

the only person near me with a 240sx beats the **** out of it and it blows blue smoke. great 240sx community eh? I see random 240's around here but they just look like commuters.

Mods?

well.... 5lb weight reduction (by removing heatshields :P), misc small stuff like plugs and K&"N drop in filter, and sleek silvery hubcaps!!!!!!!

Sex Flags, huh?I used to live right off of South street in Freehold...Exit 7A boys LOLI heard someone talk about DRFT events @ E-town but he makes ish up all of the time and no one believes him about anything... Looks like he may have been right for once. I definitely will not tell him though. If you hear about any D events up there PLEASE let me know... I'll be outta town so to speak June 28-July 18th but otherwise I'm down anytime for some sideways fun. The only thing that scares me around here is the sheer crappy-ness of the roads... Potholes and/or changes in paving materials are not good when your sideways :(I was thinking about started an Internat'l crew... we kinda have one brewing down here but it's mostly myself and a couple of guys I built Honda's for... Basically side brake happy FF toolboxes :) Hey if they've got the spirit then let them get flat spots on their rear tires :)I'm already getting the itch for more power... I promised my wife no mods on this car... Anyone have a good used header for sale??? Or some springs??? Grrr.So now the tri state query equals three... Any one else out there?

Mods? None, unless you count my aluminum Grex shift knob. Ooo, I can just feel the extra 15 hp from that.

No, I have been spending $$ just to get the S13 back in serviceable condition. Let's look at my laundry list here: 1) Timing chain (ticking away to doomsday)2) All 4 struts/springs (bounces like a rubber ball)3) Brakes (marginal)4) Interior (a mess, stereo barely works)5) Paint (another mess, black doesn't hide anything)

So you can see why the S13 is resting. It ain't safe to drive, holmes!

Sides, now I have to buy a house...and hopefully an adjoining garage where I can start doing all this restoration work. So mods are a thing of the distant future for me. Gomen nasai...

Hey, I'm in for a BBQ... Wait, you didn't say I was invited. Crap. Well, I'll have a party too! No wait. That would be intruding on your BBQ idea. Double Crap. Well we should all get together or something before hand. Anyone have any REAL good spots for hitting up for a sideways Sat night??? Like no one to come rain the parade kinda spots? I have my own spots but 15min and time to go. I'll bet there's some in South Jersey. arg. I need slidin counterparts. Someone be my friend!! LOL

Hey there Im a little late for this thread but Im from south Jersey kinda. South/central I guess you could say. Columbus, right by McGuire Air Force base and near Jackson too or the columbus flea market??

Also about those drift days it is the last wednesday of each month. I missed the last one but am going to the next one hopefully.

I have a 89 blue coupe if anyones seen it before no exterior mods yet except for tinted rear windows but i have an intake, tein t/c rods, ST sways and brembo dimple drilled/slotted rotors.

I know on http://www.importfanatix.com they are holding supposed south jersey meets near seaside or toms river or something out there but I think a BBQ would be a nice idea.
