DE and E oil pans

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I tried searching for this, but got a lot of mixed results. I understand the blocks are different between the KA24DE and KA24E, but are the stock oil pans interchangeable?

It's a pretty yes/no question. I tried looking at the gaskets and it didn't help much at all.

no they're slightly different and pickup tubes look to be in different spots. i wouldn't try it.
