DE and E crank

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Are the cranks from the DE and E interchangable. The reason I ask is my crank in my project KA24DE had chunks taken out of it when the timing chain broke loose, and the exhuast came broke in half. So anyway I'm in need of one, and someone I know has an extra E crank they can sell me. I just need to know if they can be interchanged.

I say yes they can be changed out.
