DDM HID Install

So I just got my 35w 5000k Kit in today and I got everything in order, I plug them in to see if they work and what do you know? They dont...I notice that the wires were backwards in the connection hub from the hid wire hareness meaning that the positive was connecting to the negative and vice versa. I was surprised since Ive boughten at least 10 kits for DDM Tuning and never had this problem. So I had to open up the hub and switch the ports that they were in so they would align correctly with the car's connection and now everything works great! The lights look great, I usually get 6000k but this time I wanted less blue hue and went with the 5k. Ill post pictures soon!

can u explane this so a first timer will understand .i just got mine in the mail today if mine dont work i would like to understand what your saying.i dont see where you can take anything apart ,it looks all solid.

this was actually a pretty common problem with the DDMs not too long ago. in the connector there are 2 wires, a black one and a red one. they need to be switched in the little plastic connecting thing in order for it to properly work. the easiest way i found to switch them was to use a toothpick to push back that stupid little plastic tab, pull out the wires, and then switch where they were supposed to be.

got the passanger side on ,work fine.can i still use my auto on headlight fuction with the hids

Hey guys my auto light isn't working correctly that's because I don't have the hid harness relay wire
I'm guessing? Its not killing me that its not working but there wont be any problems with the wiring will it? Thanks guys

my auto lights with a 6k ddm hit kit work just fine, you might have some bad wires or something

my ddm hids are both in and seem to work fine. was a very easy mod

star your sig is huge, you might want to size it down before a mod removes it
