I do. It's so you can run a decent staggered setup. There's plenty of inexpensive 17x9 & 17x9.5 wheels to run up front on a 4 lug 240. But if you wanna stagger the rear with anything wider than 9.5, you need to go 5 lug since the only 4 lug wheels that are wider than 9.5 inches are expensive really stuff like Work and SSR.confused9 wrote:i don't understand the logic of only doing a 5-lug swap in the back..it looks pretty beat lol. i'd go with the sub
240 owners get a bad rep sometimes, but we're not stupid. Most of us are real car guys and can appreciate a different platform besides the one that we happen to drive. i say get the Suby as well if you can afford to do it the way you want. 240's are done to death.svairman wrote:Im really surprised by the answers so far... help me make such a tough choice other than "anything other than a 240 sucks".
that's a good point though i'd say from the way everything else was done on that car it was a cost based decision. Throw parts on as you get them type thing rather than save up and do everything togethersimmode1 wrote:I do. It's so you can run a decent staggered setup. Oh yeah, for sure! That car in that ad is a pile. I wouldn't look twice at it.svairman wrote:that's a good point though i'd say from the way everything else was done on that car it was a cost based decision. Throw parts on as you get them type thing rather than save up and do everything together

Because people think front 5 lug swaps are too hard to find the right parts for the fronts, and they don't want to use Ichiba. Rear swaps are simple.confused9 wrote:i don't understand the logic of only doing a 5-lug swap in the back..it looks pretty beat lol. i'd go with the sub

that makes sense now..i'm running 17x9.5 all around so if i wanted to go bigger i would need a 5 lug swap unless pay a ton for rims..thanks budsimmode1 wrote:I do. Here's a little list of good fitting and wide 4 lug wheels to select from:nismobenzo wrote:but if wheels is the only thing holding you back..
