ive had my strut bar in for about 5 months now and i noticed that it started rusting in between the 2 bars the overlap each other

is this bad? will it eventually spread? how can i fix this problem? do you think it will crack if i take a fast turn?

This happened to my first DC strut bar. DC took it back and gave me a new one. Most likely it's just surface rust. Sand it down and paint it with some rustoleum.

Oh, well I don't want to go through all that trouble of taking it off and sending it back to Stillen (that's where I got it from).

Is the rusting really that big of a problem, or can I just ignore it?

How long do you think I can keep on driving with a slightly rusted strut bar?
