Got the stock Intake out in less than a min.
Figured the way the pipe had to run in about oh 5 or 10 min, without taking apart the wheel well but realized to get the pipe there the wheel cheap snap on piece of **** did have to come off.
You all knew this much BUTTT from here on out is completely different.
The 3'' 45 degree rubber gasket I was told just needed to be tightened a little bit more. So I tightened it and tightened it and tightened it. When it was as tight as it was going to get, the gasket still had about 3/8 of an in all the way around the throttle body.
My first attempt to fix the problem was to take the 2.5in gasket clamp and see if that would work along with making sure the 3'' clamp hold the secondary intake tube without being to loose. Well the 3'' clamp worked just fine but the 2 1/2 clamp all the way tightened the gasket barely touched on two sides making the gasket oval instead of round
My second attempt involved gasket seals and a few other things but before I even got started I decided that I was being stupid it shouldnt be this complicated and I shouldnt have to redesign the darn thing to get it to work... So I installed the NTD giving my mind a break (2 min) no longer than that and It was installed... really no joke no hassle had it installed wires put up installed less than 5 min.

And back to the potentially wast of time and money.
Walking back around to the front of the car I kicked the factory intake looked down saw a clamp. Not just any clamp but the clamp that held the stock gasket to the throttle body...hmmm. Took the 2.5 clamp, tightened it all the way for the fifth time but this time I moved it out another inch where I would have room for the factory clamp. put the factory clamp on tightened tightened a little more and boom... INSTALLED!!!
Started her up expecting it to run like the other guy here that has a 1.6 with intake.
idled normal reved it a little.... vrom, woosh.... vrom, woosh.... ROOOOAAAAAR WOOOSH!!!!!
Now to the PICS
Here is the two clamps I was talking about

A Closer look

And the whole system
