Daytona Test November

I am an avid Grand-Am fan and i post alot over on the Grand-am forums. Sput said something about an overheating engine at the recent tests. Did you guys have a problem with overheating and if so did you get it fixed? Best of luck next season, I'll be rooting for you.

What I saw was the temperature concerns along pit road on Monday afternoon, but I wasn't there on Tuesday, and I heard from others the Infiniti saw much more track time on Tuesday, so they must have figured out most of the problem.

Another fun part of Monday was all those drivers who do not yet have their 2007 rides set yet. There were several 'significant' road racing names hanging around, such as Terry Borcheller and Joey Hand. The general impression was that these cars and this team look attractive to potential drivers!

The word we have is that it was an oil cooler issue, which has been addressed. There are further tests planned for December at Homestead (Miami), so we'll keep you guys updated on that as well.

Daytona is JUST around the corner!!!

are they going to be at daytona the first week of january?

im planning on being there for the test and was wondering if id be seeing them

The current plan is for Jacob & me to attend the Daytona test session also. As the date draws closer, we'll have to make plans for a group photo with Team HLM!
