According to the team, the car performed well and ran strong all day.
The NoHotWire Racing / Car & Driver / NICOclub 350Z finished in the points, 28th in class. While it's not a stellar placement, it's a huge result for the team and very encouraging. Lap times were consistent with the leaders for much of the race.
Larry Webster (of Car & Driver) and Rich Biscevic (Team Owner) shared driving duties at Daytona, and they have a commitment from Ken Dobson to drive at LimeRock.
The next step will be for the team to raise some capital in order to purchase the now-tested Bosch ECU and harness, as well as some dyno tuning time and transport / support expenses for the race weekend.
If you are aware of a company that would like some exposure, feel free to post up so we can put you ni tough with the team from NoHotWire Racig.
