Daytime running lights & wipers

Does anyone know if a 2009 G37 coupe can be set up to have "daytime running lights"? Also can the car be set up so that the lights come on when the wipers are activated. Some states require lights to be on when using wipers and I had a Jeep that did this and it was very convenient.

The DRL's should be. In Canada, it is the law to have DRL's so Infiniti sells them that way 'up dere'. Thank God they aren't that way here, or I would have questioned if there was a way to disable them. The other part of your question is intriguing though with the wipers to headlights...but then you'd have your headlights come on when you spray clean the windshield...

DRL's suck...IMO, but I am only one man. Headlights in the daytime should be saved for low visibility vehicles, like motorcycles and emergency vehicles.

For a coupe: In the fog light section of the headlight is a wedge bulb which you can upgrade to brighter LED's and possibly rewire to stay on when the ignition is on. Sedan? possibly bright LED's to replace the upper-right parking bulb and a rewire. From a wipers perspective, more rewiring would be needed. Dig into the FSM to see what is involved.

I couldn't agree more, glad I don't have 'em on either of my cars.
