Just purchased a 1995 MAxima for my wife and the DRLs are not working.

1. Where is the fuse/module as I can find neither

2. Is there a wiring diagram available.

Couldn't find a diagram, but i bet someone here has a manual online somewhere. Anyhow, I believe your daytime lights run off your high beams, so do the high beams work okay?

This is excellent and will get me well on the road to troubleshooting the system.

Do we know where the DTRL module is hidden.;according to the wiring diagram, it should be in the passenger compartment somewhere but I am not clear.

Secondly, my door chimes (seatbelt buzzer, headlight warning tones) don't function either, are these interconnected somehow.

If you look at the diagram on page EL-46 (posted above), the DTRL module is labeled E42. If you look at the diagram below, I believe you will find it's located behind the passenger side headlight assembly.

Since when does the '95 have DRL's? My '98 doesn't even have them.

USDM does not have them. ALL cars in Canada must have DRL's, Queen's law.

Thanks for the help guys, my lights now work. With the info you gave me, i figured out the problem, checked the fuses, located the controller, and two sharps taps with the handle of a knockometer they came on and have fuctioned properly since.
