I have an 07 SL on order w/ touring package. Delivery in mid May adn I'm really getting antsy.

Does anybody know how to turn the fog lights into daytime running Lights? What I want to do us have the fog lights on whenever the ignition is on.

Any and all help / suggestions are appreciated

Hope you have had more success in the DRL question than I have had. I've been frustrated by Nissan 'service???' depts. in 4 dealers. I still do not have an answer. My next move today is to call a Nissan "service???' department in Canada to try to find out how they address the problem for Muranos brought into Canada. I'll post if I learn anything.

Have not learned how to make the fog lights into DRL's, but did learn from a dealer in Canada that the xenon headlights in the US are illegal in Canada... can only use halogens, so, to change US headlights into DRL's, would have to change the complete wiring harness, probably would cost about $300.00. Let me know if you have any luck in learning how to make the fog lights work without the headlights also being on.

I called Hamsar (makers of DRL modules) and provided a wiring diagram for my Maxima. In my case found the fog lights as an option with a Hamsar DRL module.

Hi there! I'm from Canada and just bought a 07 Murano from the USA. There are a couple ways of getting drl's to work. You can put a drl module in and it will cost about $250. You can also just put a relay in. Splice it into your Ignition. This way is way cheaper. The only difference is the module cuts the power from 12V to 6V so your lights are a little dimmer but its not worth the extra money. I have also heard that nissan can hook it up to their computer and get the sencor to work. Its probally just as cheap to get a relay put in. I hope this helped. Let me know if I can help any more.
