Daylight Savings Time issue with the GPS

I noticed last year that DST didn't change on the GPS clock and i had to manually change the time. The same thing occured this year also. A co-worker of mine who owns a 07 Maxima experienced the same thing with his GPS.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the fix action. I performed a search on the forum and came up with nothin'. Any ideas (researched not guessed) would be appriciated.

There is an option setting to accomodate DST. It doesn't automatically switch the time to DST on the date it occurs, but checking it adds and hour to the time and unchecking it subtracts an hour from the time...It is easier than resetting the clock.

Thanks thats what i have been doing.

It's something because when you set your computer, or watches or Tv's and stereos to the DSt switch, it changes automatically.
