I went to have my car dyno'd last night and after 4 pulls and 10PSI later my RB25 setup dyno'd at 427WHP, 378ft,lbs. Then a problem occured... On the last pull the timing seemed to jump up to 23 DEGREES?!?!?!?!?!?!? Don't know the cause of it yet, but there is a weird whining noise coming from the cam cover... so hopefully just the belt stretched... who knows? Just thought I'd give ya'll an update...

Also have a few parts questions too:

1. N1 Oil and Water Pumps - I have checked Taka Karia, Top Hats, JGY, Phase 2. Does anyone have other website that I can order these for for less than $300??2. Jun Crank Collar - LINK to a site when I can purchase one, S1 RB25.

Thats all, new parts dyno graphs coming soon...

1. No. $350 appears to be the going price that I have seen for the N1 on reputable sites.

2. No. Nengun? I thought a place Stateside had some though..

PS, what timing belt did / do you have?

Here is a place to get a N1 Oil Pump. They have other factory RB parts as well.http://www.nismoparts.com/catalog/?section=756

This is where I got my JUN collar. Which was finally installed last week after a few months wait!https://rhdjapan.com/shop/cart...p=422

23 degrees is about right for wot pulls, just means its on a diffrent part of the map.as for 427 whp on 10psi, that i find hard to believe...that dyno is reading WAAAY high

Ok I didn't check nengun for part, also as far as the boost the AVC-R is going bananas, my tuner or I can't figure it out we were trying to get it to run constent boost, it was running high boost at like 1500-2000 RPM... I'll get the specifics.

ALSO: The Whole Head is STOCK! Belt and all.

lol, i still dont believe it.35r with a 1.06 ar is going to be laggy as hell, and will need more boost to crack that much power...also dyno would help as with an ar that large he would have to be revving to atleast 8k to make power and stock rb25 cams are poo that high.

with an ar on the turbine of 1.06 there is simply no way you are at full or 'high' boost at 1500-2000, its physicaly impossible.i dont get 10psi on my 30r with a .63 ar till AT LEAST 3.5k.

Look man I dont truly know what the issue was this is just what my tuner was telling me, I'm not as well verse in this like you are when it comes to ever aspect of the car, so when I get the right answer and the results and what happened I will let you know, so I can show you the power is real also the problems...

My daily driver has 17.5:1 compression and runs 20PSI all day long with boost hitting around 1500RPM...Duramax powaa!!

But about the whining noise. I've heard timing belts making this noise many times before...sometimes even brand new ones. I'd check it and replace it if it hasn't been done recently.

I dont think he was saying he was hitting boost at 1500 rpms he was saying that the AVC-R was already set in high boost and they couldnt figure out why...

no sounds like poor wiring and shortcuts taken, never a good thing when doing a swap.

Hey Chaos, do you have a copy of the dyno graph that you can post? I'm sure there are a lot of people that could spot some issues simply based on what they see. I, however, am not one of them
