Dawes manual boost controller install question

Ok so I got my dawes MBC and I just want to make sure I'm installing in the right place.If I put the controller on the hose I'm holding,is that right?Is there anything else I need to do.I have read the instructions and from what I can tell this is the right way but I'm not totally sure.

yessir...in is from compressor. out goes to gate.

you may want to get a long piece of line so you can keep the boost controoler out of the way.
