I don't think anyone can answer this because Dauntt hasn't gotten his engines yet

wiring can be done for you for 100 bucks. if you wait a little bit there will be about 25 people that will be able to comment on daunts engines. (they're due to arrive at his shop end of march)

Daunt is the moderator for this whole website, don't you think that he has the knowledge and the good products.

so far as I know they are all sold, although he did refund some of the deposits, so there might be a couple available. However, you should e-mail him for more detailed information. It might take him a bit to reply to you because he is pretty busy setting up all the stuff in his shop right now, so don't freak out if it takes him an hour or two to reply :)

I will have some spare motors, but everyone and their brother wants one, so I don't know how many, I'm also not taking anymore deposits right now until the first shipment is cleared up. We've been putting in extremely long days getting the shop ready, so it may take me up to a day, or possibly even 2 to respond to emails, so don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't respond right away. : ) Let me know if theres anything I can help you with. Enjoy your day!

Yeah customer service is great....but he has no other choice but to give good customer service. He doesnt want to lose you as a customer. But come on, we're coming on April and still no engines???? Is your engine still on schedule?

As far as I know, yes, my engine is still on schedule. The reason I chose to go with daunttless is because he has excellent prices and great customer service (but I already said that, so what is the REAL reason?)

The REAL reason I chose to go with Dauntt is because I cannot even start working on my car until May no matter when I get my engine. Even if it had come in back in January it would have to sit in my shop until after May 13th and gather dust. Daunttless needed people to reserve engines with an undetermined ship date, and since I don't really care when it gets shipped (as long as it is here by May 1), I decided to help him out by giving him my deposit.

See what I am saying?

Thanks for posting the "real" reason, most of us are not in that situation.

Sometimes its better to wait for a good product than rush into getting something just to get it now....you dont know how many people regret rushing into things...the "I need it now" process doesnt always end up in quality, you are usually better off waiting for something if u know its going to be good.

I am with Jesse on this one. I chose to go with Daunt because I knew I would get an excellent product. Not to mention that I got a great deal. Yes I am a little anxious to get the car up and running, but I have other cars to drive so it's not that big of a deal.

the people that bought motors from him bought them knowing that there is not a predetermined ship date, he stated that up front and has kept all of us up to date on the progress of everything. The motors should have been here about 2 months ago but, as we all know, there was a horrid problem with the previous shipping company.

This time things wil be different since Dauntt is using a different shipping company and (I *think*) he has a GPS dealie on this shipment, or at least some kind of tracking device.
