Car: 1974 Datsun 620 pickup

I have a 1974 Datsun 620 Pickup and I want to put a Z car motor in it. What motor would give me the least headache? Is there one that I can just bolt in ? Will I need to change my transmission ? My truck currently has a blown L-18 so I thought it was a good of time as any to upgrade.
