Well guys after many years of looking I have finally found myself a 1974datsun 710. This was my very first car and from the moment I sold it I knew I had to have another one. But some 28yrs later I finaly got one. Its not in the best shape but its exactly the shape I want as im going to Pro Street the car. So basically im going to cut the car to crap . I dont believe in taking a nice car and doing this but the one i purchased i dont feel badly doing it to. Im kinda stuck on what to use for a motor. Im really thinking of shoe horning in a 347 cu in small block ford as I have a mustng now and lots of parts. its goingto take time and lots of money but im use toit as my son and i have just completed his 1985 chev low rider 1/2 ton truck. Seven yrs of work . So if anyone has suggestions or insights i would appreciate any and all help. Im new to the forum so it may take a while to gt onto how to do things but im sure ill catch on.. Thats cool that you finally got yourself another 710 but wow 28yrs? Anyways I just bought myself a 74' 710 a couple days ago but I can't find any place that sells interior parts for it. Do such stores exist for these cars? When I restored my 70' Nova I found everything brand new online for it. Anyways here are some pictures of my new car. I already went ahead and gutted her out to see what kind of surprises were lying underneath the carpet and all. To my surpise I only need to replace the trunk pan which is cool because I plan on tubbing the car anyways.

I so agree they are rare. Think about it most of the post here are from the early 2000's
I almost bought that car. There are parts available. you really have to search. I came accross a wagon
with minimal rust and original paint. Glad to see someone else has good taste.

Remeber Bigger engine doesnt mean faster.
but it will be sick:

I'm hoping to revive this thread. Any other 710 owners out there?
