I have two. Neither will hold vacuum - it's the diaphram.

Problem is I can't find one under $75. Must cost $5 or less to manufacture.

Any way to fix?

are you talking about the little plastic thing?

No. It's the metal diaphragm 'holder' mounted to the dist. the arm of which goes inside the dist. and controls the vacuum advance.

Meanwhile, I disass. and reassembled [cleaned/lubricated] the distributor, installed it and it won't start - even with the old/bad vac advance it ran before but not well. Rats!!
