Hi, I have an 1982 Datsun 720 2wd truck with the 4 speed transmission (F4W71B). I do go on the highway almost every day and it always feels like it needs another gear. There’s a guy locally breaking a slightly newer Nissan 720 4x4 with a 5 speed transmission (divorced transfer case). Will the 5 speed transmission fit my 2wd truck? Any advice greatly appreciated. Apologies if this has been asked before (searched and could not find an answer).
