Car: 1979 Datsun 210

Hello everyone my name is David and I just bought my first car being a 1979 Datsun 210.

The issue with this cat is that the check battery light is on and ive already replaced the alternator and the car still isnt charging.

I took it to a Nissan dealership and was told that the choke relay might be an issue?

Any help is appreciated.
