dashlights problem

hey, i have a 92 240se with the heads up digital speed display crap. And at night when my lights are on the display nolonger lights up. The speed works, and the liitle lights like the cruise control work, but the back lighting is non exsistent. Has anyone had this problem? Ive been thinging about buying a new gauge cluster and doing away with the digital speed to fix the back light problem.

Hey check out the FAQ its in there, Its probly a burnt out light in the heating and air controlls, I have the same problem I took out the stereo then took out the havac contoller, you have to take a cover off the top, it slides to the back revealing 2 lite bulbs shure enogh one of mine was out, be shure to measure it with a meter or hook it up to 12 volts, because I couldnt tell by lookin at it.

My bulbs havnt come in from the dealer yet bulb # 27545
