I don't have the bose system. I have the "regular" four speaker system. I see that there are 2 spots on the far, back corners of the dashboard. No speakers in there right now.

Question one is, can I add 2 speakers in there, either slicing them in, or maybe this system has inputs for these speakers.

Question 2 is, how do i get access to them?

Thanks, Miles Away

The speaker grilles near the A pillars can be removed by gently prying them with a wide flat pry tool. ie. a scraper or similar thin flat piece of metal. Wrap the tool with electrical tape or use a cloth to protect the plastic on dash.

As for wiring, the stock audio system (4 speaker version) does not have outputs for the extra speakers. However, you can replicate the wiring for the mid-grade audio system (available in Canada only) which has the 2 additional speakers in the dash. To do this, you would need to splice into the wiring for the door speakers along with a high pass filter (assuming you wish to install tweeters).

Personally I would not go through the trouble of a speaker install in the dash locations without upgrading the system as a whole... or at least parts of it. You can gain a lot by simply upgrading the head unit. Read the Official Rogue FAQ sticky at the top of the forum for more information... look under 'audio'.
