Dashboard Problem

Its funny i just swaped in my red top sr20 in a 93 240 fastback, my speedometer works, and the gas gauge works but my rpms and the tepature gauge dont work what can be wrong? ooo... and the light for the seat belts and the light that tells you that the door is open go crazy the blink alot even if the door is closed and the seat belts are on

make sure the plugs are pushed all the way in on the back of the cluster, like until they click in, check the connection to your temp sensor, easy enough to find

this might sound dumb but were is the temp sensor on this engine?

right above the water neck on the intake side. There is a bracket that is bolted to the valve cover that has a plug or 2 on it. Right behind that there are 2 sensors, a 1-wire and 2-wire. The 1-wire one is for your water temp gauge. Should be a spade connector that kind of snaps on.

this might sound dumb but were is the temp sensor on this engine?

Your temp sensor is on the right side of your Throttle body and factory sensor is should be in red colored on the back of the plug..
