ok, so ive had this issue for a long @$$ time. My dashboard lights will not come on. My head lights, fog lights, anything else can turn on, so its not the pod itself. I do notice that when my headlights are turned off, i can see the digital AC number, but once i turn on my headlights, it dims out super duper low. ( can only tell in night time) So i was advised it was my light dimmer switch. Well i took apart the pod and saw nothing that looked like a light dimmer switch and now i am starting to think that its not it. Ive checked the fuzes and all that other jazz. Still nothing. You guys got any ideas where else i can check?

A possible short?..are any fuses blown?.....now if you are saying that when you turn on your lights your A/C Digital numbers dim. I would maybe check the alternator, as it is probibly not charging the battery enough. Go to Auto Zone and they'll check the voltake of the alternator for free. If its over 13.5 or under 12 volts then its the alternator. Its about $215 but when you turn in the core its arond $150ish. Was anything installed in the car latley?

no mods that i have done to, ever since i had the car they would never turn on. If possible can anyone take a pic of how the connector from harness to the pod looks like? i see 1 white cable that is cut, but other than that it looks normal. Just another thing i want to see. Ill have to check the alternator, but i dont think my dash uses up THAT much power to turn them on, i mean i have HIDs and they turn on perfect. Does anyone know where the harness conector goes? i mean i know its in the pod, but how do i follow it to see if there are any cuts or alterations done to the cable?

I had a problem much like this, a mechanic told me i needed a new alternator. My buddy cut off my old crappy battery terminal and put on a new one, and it works like a charm. 2$ fix make sure the wires going to your battery terminals arent frayed, and that your terminals arent rusted/corroded

so i took my dash apart again, and cannot make my dash lights to work. Ive rechecked the connections, everything looks legit. I even took apart my left pod and cleaned all the connectors and the switch it self, still nothing. I rechecked the fuses, and found that 2 are missing and do not know for what they are.

Anyone got a pic of the fuse relay box from the driver kick side?

ok so im still with this, and ive it down like this.

The fuses are all in tact, working etc, getting ground etc, etc

the light dimmer switch works, its responsive to both dimmer options..

now...

What the hell is sending the signal to the dashboard?

There has to be something in between the light dimmer switch and the dashboard in order for it to send signals too.

anyone know?
