Dashboard lights stay on all the time
Hey NistechI finally found the fuse box under the intake. but which is the eccs relay. all i saw relays there were for the headlights. i didnt see no eccs. and i checked the wires connecting to the distributor and they do have power. so i have a feeling its my crank angle sensor that got messed up do to so much moving of the distributor and it probably got messed up. but ill let you know what happens.
Hey nistech i got the car running it was the cranlk angle pos. i did the timing right and the car was running fine. and today i was driving it home today from my school. and then when the car would ideal the oil light would turn on. and then once i start going the light would turn off. then i was driving in 5th and the car would not accelerate and it was making a nasty tata ta ta ta noise. so iguess the oil pump whent bad and i blew a rod bearing. thats the only thing i can think off. it has oil and everything. and when i opened the oil cap and pulled the dipstick out white smoke was comming out. So yea this suxs i blew a rod. and now i have no place to change the motor cause i cant go back to my school.just wanted to update you
Hey japican my lights turn off when i turn the car on and then i turn it off the lights turn off like normal operation. but if i just turn on the acc on the switch and then turn it to off to take the key out lights stay on.
also nistech the motor i found was blown . so do you know anyplace selling a ka24de anywere locally in florida.

I have a feeling its your ignition switch on both cars causeing the light problem. as I said try and disconnect the ignition switch main connector at the base of your sterring coloum at the lower edge of the dash when the key is turned off and the lights are still illuminated if they go off its your ignition switch.
hey im not sure if im goign to part it out yet. but how much you think i cna get. the car has no dents or anythign it needs a hatch because of the spoiler rust. and it could use a paint job as the clear coat of comming off. The interior is clean. the drivers seat on the lumbar is ripped a lil. but the rest of the car is great. no hits or anythign its a clean car. has a good 5 spd transmission and a good heard.
im not sure if im goign to sell the car or find a block for it and replace it or rebuild the block.
