Hi Everyone, this is my first post in this forum and my first day registered. Just retired a 1999 Lexus GS300 and bought a 2008 M35 (base) black on black with tint. Really love this car, it is exponentially better than my run down GS.

So the problem is some of my dashboard lights are blue and some are orange. I know they are supposed to be blue and wanted help buying the correct bulbs (unless the 2008 parts are different and therefore I cannot just swap the bulbs?). So the orange lights that I need to swap are...

The climate controls all light up orange (but I think they are supposed to?)
The clock and all the buttons to the left and right of the clock (the cd player is blue/white colored)
The heated/chilled seat lights
The AWESOME cup holder light that shines directly above the cup holder

I did try searching for this information trust me but had little luck. Bulb sizes would be awesome and any other input is appreciated!

As far as I know, EVERYTHING should be blue in your car. What it sounds like happened is someone changed the panels (got a 06/07 climate control panel and center console).

As far as I also know, these aren't bulbs. They are soldered LED's...meaning you have to have soldering skills in order to solder out the LED's and put the right color back in. Otherwise, I would have converted my orange interior to blue a long time ago lol.

I think you're SOL here unless you can find someone who will swap you the orange parts. Sounds like someone was doing something funky in your interior (previous owners).

Take a picture of your center console/dashboard to show us what it looks like...maybe someone with an 08+ can then help you better...but I believe everything is blue/blueish white on the 08+ models.

lol....none of that happened....dont be alarmed...those lights the OP stated are orange on the 08....but as IlyaKol stated, you would have to unsolder and solder those lights if you want to change them.....i will edit with a pic of my interior...

IMO those being orange just reminds me that its ON with a quick glance

Wait, what? So infiniti mixed and matched the lights on the 08+?

That's DUMB. And news to me. Learned something new today.

I have seen listings for tiny bulbs to 'change your M35 orange dash to blue/white' but they never say exactly what you have to do to:
1) get to them, which if they are like most of infiniti, countles steps to remove tons of pieces while contorting your body in provocative postions just to get to that particular part.
2) only to find out that as stated in the earlier post, you CAN change the bulbs out but only of you are a master soldering pro! I doubt the bulbs are 'plug-N-play'.
After the annoying number of steps to do the headlamps, the rear turn signals, and a radiator I'm sure this will NOT be a 1-hour job.
Mind you, i am NOT unhappy with my M. Indeed I capital "L" my black beast! It's just that when I plan a DYI job on it, I get this mental pic of the Infiniti design team - a group of 5' tall 110 pound men sitting around a table having a huge laugh about how funny a 6'3" 200 pound american might look while trying to remove or upgrade what we just installed !
