So, if you've done any modifications to your car, chances are you would like to show them off. I know I did. Of course it is hard to take video while your driving since it bcomes difficult to hold even the lightest of cameras for long periods of time, so I decided to make a dash mount for my digital camera. Here's how I did my camera mount:

If your camera has a standard tripod mount on the bottom, like mine does, all you need is a 1/4" hex bolt, and a few washers and nuts.

The bolt, washers, and nuts cost me 54 cents at Home Depot

I drilled a hole in the center dash peice just in front of where the knob is for the center vents.

Mount up the bolt and tighten everything down.

Add the camera and you're done!

I will be swapping out the bolt for a shorter one, but for now, it'll be fine.

Check for a test video on youtube in a couple days! We tried it out today during the snow storm in an empty parking lot :dblthumb:
