dashboard begining to split

The dashboard on my 08 m35 sport is starting to split in several places along the top.
Does infiniti make a replacement black skin with the cutouts to fit over the dash board or am I better off patching the splits and having the dash repainted. Anybody have similar problems or solutions ???

The last time this issue was raised, Infiniti declined to replace it under warranty and the only option was to purchase a new dash. I would suggest re-covering it yourself. If you buy a pre-made dash cover on Ebay for about $50, you could use that as a template and make your own out of suede. Or you could check with an upholstery shop and see what they would charge to re-cover it for you.
