Which car? 13 or 14...#7 radio, or #23 fuse...check the links under the hood too....I popped one last week...trial and error...but yes...it is a ground issue in the steering collar or at the fuse box

Does your car have an aftermarket radio?

check all your bulb connections/sockets as well; my little brother had that same problem, ended up being a fubard taillight socket.

First off, don't post multiple threads about the same issue. Keep to one thread. Second your fuses that control mainly your interior controls are in the kicker panel on the driver side. Open your door, go to the plastic cover left of the clutch pedal. There is a little latch/door that you can open and you will see a bunch of fuses. Look at your door- it shows you where all the fuses are. Once you have established that and know where your fuses are, take out your new CD player. Tape up ALL untaped wires. You cannot say you taped them all because this is an established problem. This is what happened to me. Tape up ALL lose wires. Do not tape them together or anything like that. Individualy tape up ALL the wires. making sure no wires can ground. Reinstall your CD player. Now, go to your fuses again, pull out each and every one and check it. Replace the fuse(s) that is blown. Your problem should be fixed. Let us know.
