So I went to my local Pick-a-Part today and found a set of pathy seats for $45 CAN to replace my bench seat.

I have two questions though:
1. I removed all the screws I could find in the dash but the top is still on there good. Is it just clips where i can pull hard so it pops off, or are there more screws hidden on the top of the dash?

2. This is for a friend, he doesnt have a tach in his d21, so will the gauge cluster from a pathy work? All the screws are the same, but are the connections at least similar?

Thanks for all the help. I'll have pics of my truck up soon and maybe some of my friends as well

There is a screw under all three defroster vents.

Thanks for the help, I found the screws but cant get the dash past the steering wheel. Oh well, guess i'll jus have to rent a puller.

Good news is i got the old bench seat out along with the carpeting. everything looks great, a little surface rust but nothing major. The ecu will be pulled soon so i can look over all the connections. I'll give another update this weekend

On cluster check behind his to be sure he has the tach connector, and to check if the connectors are same. I think I have been told newer clusters are electric on speedo not mechanical like older models. So tach may not plug and play.
