Guys, got in the car the other day and theres some kind of rattle in the dash, sounds like a marble or something rattling around right dead center of the dash, we took out everything out of the cupholder, center console, checked glove box and no luck.......must be something under the dash.......anybody else have this problem??

many people have these rattles. you will have to remove the glove box to access the "bad Spots"

there is 3 all together. One on each corner of the dash and one in the center. you will need a thick rubber grommet which you shove under the dash causing it to lift up. The center is opposite where you shove a rubber grommet from the top pushing the dash downwards.

that is the passenger side vent causing the buzz. Rubber grommet between the vent and the other vent it connects to solves the problem. To get at it you must remove the glove box for easier access.

I recently heard rattling in the V and couldn't figure out what it was. Turns out it was my sunglass moving around in the sunglass holder near the map lights up top. Could that be the issue with your V?

That was the first ever rattle I had....I stopped using that holder the minute I clued in that it was the glasses doing it, now I find the holder useless. It is a good place for receipts though.

LOL. I still use it faithfully for my glasses. I have sort of tuned the rattle out. The only noise that kind of annoys me is the high pitched wind noise from the hood deflector. But that's okay, still love my V, and no I won't get rid of the hood deflector. It's done miracles so far for my hood

I did the same......but it was my 2nd rear view mirror hitting the front windshield. But now I have this anoying vibrating rattle on my left front under the dash location. I played around and it seems to go away but it comes back.

Sounds like metal vibrating at certain RPM's.......... f'n drives me nuts!

Help if you can please.

Thank you

The Versa is not a rattle trap very solid car. Yes the hatch creaks and rattles on ours but I heard it can be adjusted. And there is a noise from the dash that sounds like something is knocking on it. And the dash does creak from it contacting other plastic pieces but really it takes a hard bump for these to occur. Other wise the car is really solid. No car is perfect!

pieces are expected to expand and contract as well in different temperatures, making some 'creaks'.

Don't feel bad. I found my rattle too. It's the tire pressure checker I placed in the small compartment of the glove box door. Other than that, I've been rattle-free.

your versa may be rattle free thanks to the climate you live in
