Yeh, I had that issue a few days back. It drove me CRAZY! But I just moved a few things around. really the most common rattle I have is in my glove box, I have a few things in there. So cheack for any loose objects in thereEver Victorious wrote:That could be anything. Check your sunglass holder... most common "rattle" I've heard of is that sunglasses in there sometimes make noise.
I'm actually decently impressed with the plastics used in the Versa - not much different than first gen G35s, really. I just wish all car companies would dampen their plastic parts (no matter how "hard" or "soft" the plastic is) with some sort of felt tape prior to assembly. That way plastic-on-plastic contact would be minimized.boqibama wrote:The plastic frame on top of the audio center does make noise by itself, I just figure out mine. i have to live with it unless change it. drives me crazy! Nissan should uses better plastic for the dash.
The big problem with fixing squeaks, creaks, & rattles is actually pin-pointing the cause. A dealership can't fix the problem until they can identify it. That tends to be difficult with some noises. Especially if they are coming from under the car or buried deep in the dash. I'm probably going to have better luck tracking this one down myself.boqibama wrote:By the way, do you people think NISSAN can replace the noisy dash part under warranty?
