Gauge lights.. there isnt an easy way to get it out, but heres the best way I found to do it:
1) remove all the crap below it (panels etc)2) I tried to pull the bezel surroundg the gauges (maybe thats not the right word for it, its the black thing has the defroster and emergency flashers on it etc etc..) anyways, and it doesnt really clear the steering wheel, so after I cracked it, i put it back where it belongs, I disconnected the steering wheel height adjuster and it would drop as far as possible, then I was able to remove it, after that you've got 2 or 3 screws to remove the gauge pod it self, that I believe has 3 or 4 lights in (along with one light for each indicator on the bottom), the lights have a blue plastic cap for them..)
for the HVAC controls:1) unscrew shifter knob, pull off leather boot and the whole middle console thing, probably easier to remove your radio <gives you more room>, remove the 4 screws hold the hvac stuff in there, turn the hvac unit upside down, there is a little acccess slot that has 2 bulbs (finally figured out why mine was so dim.. only one was workin!) and they cost like $6 from nissan..
The above instructions are probably wrong, thats just how I did it.. some easier way im sure.. but hey! I dont care.
