Dash lights??

So I had the dreaded blower motor problem. I replaced a Relay and everything worked fine until the day after.

Now when I start my car the dash lights, radio, speedo, tach do not come on till about 1 minute after start up. But the blower turns on just fine and blows good. I can adjust the blower up and down but can't see the screen.

It is weird because the fuel gauge and temp gauge work but not the speedo or the tach.

I think it may be fuse or some other relay, any suggestions?

Alright this is getting worse now, yesterday it took 14 minutes for the dash lights and the radio and display to light up.

It is weird because the blower will turn on right away and then turn off for a couple of seconds then turn to full blast and to what ever temp I had it set to.

You can't adjust the blower speed or the temp until the screen turns on.

No radio either until the screen turns on.

These relays I'm talking about are behind the fuse panel by the parking brake. There are two of them and I just replaced one.maybe I will try replacing the other one see what Happens.

Well I replaced the other relay and it works fine again.

There are two relays on the back of the fuse panel by your feet. you have to remove a couple of panels and the kick plate, unplug the light for the kick plate. Four gold screws and nuts hold it in. Turn it over and those are the relays that good.

If you are going to replace one just do both, trust me it is worth the extra $30.

Thanks for the good info in spite of a lack of input from other members. If I may ask, what is the "blower motor problems" and what lead you to these relays originally?
